AXLE SOLDERING JIG
This jig will ensure that you solder the inner washer squarely to the axle. In a wooden block, drill a hole into which the axle wire will fit snugly. Hold the block down or clamp it into a vise, and then push the axle wire into it. Check that the washer is flat against the wood, and then solder it in place securely.
