Don’t Touch Your Ribs
When it comes time to sand the leading edge or trailing edge of your wing, ribs are very vulnerable when using a sanding block or sanding T. All it takes is one stroke from the block and your ribs could break or get sanded down by accident causing a flat spot to appear. We all know that is not good. To help prevent this, use a strip of masking tape and attach it to the ribs along the full length of the wing just behind the leading edge material to be sanded. You will still need to be carful sanding but it will help as a guide from over-sanding.
