Emerging Sustainable Aircraft Propulsion Concepts
Embraer has unveiled four sustainable propulsion aircraft designs that suggest future configurations of hybrid-turbine and hydrogen-electric aircraft. The four designs were recently cited by Aviationweek.com and Simpleflying.com, among other media outlets. Photo 2 is the Energia Hybrid (E9-HE). Photos 3-5 show the Electric (E9-FE), Energia H2 Fuel Cell configuration (H19-H2FC), and Energia H2 Gas Turbine design (E50-H2GT), respectively.
