Extending Rubber Bands

Making wing bands by cutting inner tubes is an old idea, but here’s a new twist. Loop them together to form a longer loop for larger wings. This can also be done with rubber bands of appropriate size and thickness, doubled up and anchored to wing hold-down dowels in the upper fuse at the wing cradle of light balsa-construction gliders.
