Foam-Core Wing Repair with Long Scarf Joint

After you’ve rejoined broken pieces of a foam-core wing, you may find that much of the foam has crumbled away. Epoxy the damaged parts, push them back together, and make sure that the joined panels are flat (not warped). Carefully remove the broken part of the wing skin and splice in new wood.
