Insulating Soldered Joints

Here’s a handy alternative to insulating wire joints with heat-shrink tubing--after soldering two wires together, run glue from a hot-glue gun over the connection (instead of using the customary insulating sleeve), and overlap the insulation to support and strengthen the connection.
