LiPo Weight Estimate
You can get a very good estimate of the weight of a LiPo battery by taking the number of cells and multiplying that by the Amp-Hour capacity of the battery. In the case of a 4-cell 2200mAh pack, if you take 4 times 2.2 (Amp-Hours) you get 8.8 ounces.
