Making bowed parts

Bowed parts are made from laminated balsa strips. They are strong and lightweight and typically used for wing tips, stabilizer/elevator tips and fin/rudder shapes. Making them is fairly easy. 1. Using 3/16- or 1/4-inch-thick artist foamboard, make templates. 2.
