Molded Wing-Screw Bushings
These inexpensive no. 278-1643 Radio Shack cable-feed-through bushings are made of either nylon or ABS plastic. They require a 3/8-inch-diameter hole and are ideal for use on foam wings and ARFs. The hole through the center is conveniently sized for ¼-inch nylon screws. To be really effective, any blocks or bushings should be in firm contact with the wing-mounting block (shown by dotted line) so that the nylon screws will shear in a crash. Adapted...
