New Flying Transformer
An exciting new hybrid fixed-wing/rotary aircraft design by Rogelio Lozano recently appeared on YouTube. His invention transforms from a fixed wing aircraft to a rotary wing electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) ship, or vice versa, in mid-flight. The transformer is shown in horizontal flight mode in this video before it morphs into a rotorary vehicle, spinning like a helicopter rotor, with full eVTOL capability.
