Bob’s WW I fighter started life as a 1/4- Balsa USA kit, and now it’s powered by a Zenoah 26cc gas engine turning a 16x8 propeller. The plane has Williams Brothers wheels and Williams Brothers Lewis machine gun. All color and markings are exterior latex house paint. A hand-painted Aces of Iron pilot is at the controls. Bob made the model’s aluminum cowl out of an old spaghetti pot that he “liberated” from the kitchen....
