No-Cost Hatch Latch
Another “why didn’t we think of this before” idea: this secure, spring-loaded latch can be operated with one hand. Make it with leftover pieces of plywood (hold them together with CA). It is ideal for electric models where you remove the battery hatch after every flight. Thoroughly wax the tongue (T) with soap or candle wax so that you don’t glue it to the hatch (H), and use CA sparingly! Adapted from 400 Great R/C...
