Pro Tip: Optimize Your Center of Gravity

The center of gravity (CG) is one of the most crucial factors in an RC airplane’s flight performance. An improperly balanced aircraft can lead to instability and poor handling. • A forward CG makes the plane more stable but requires more elevator control. • A rearward CG increases maneuverability but can make the plane difficult to control. Always refer to the manufacturer’s recommended CG and adjust by moving the battery or adding ballast if necessary.
