Quick Collar
To keep your wheels in place on smaller backyard fliers, simply cut off a piece of wire insulation and press it onto the landing-gear wire. Carefully add a drop of CA glue to the very end, and it will hold the wheel on just fine. This trick could also be used at the flying field for a quick fix if you lose a wheel collar.
