This system, which allows you to completely paint and finish the ailerons before you attach them and lets you remove them for repair, holds your ailerons securely with the click-fit feature. You must drill the hole at 90 degrees to the hinge blade (so that the hinge wire sits vertically between the aileron and the wing), and cut the slot just a few thousandths of an inch narrower than the diameter of the hinge wire....
