Removing Stuck Gear Legs

After removing the hold-down clips, you might find that a landingear leg is stuck in the mounting block, and it’s difficult to pull straight out without bending it. Make a loop of strong fishing line, then slide it along under the horizontal torsion-bar part of the gear (as shown) until it reaches the vertical, embedded part of the gear.
