In giant-scale models, it’s usual to “double up” on elevator servos. Here’s an elevator doubler made from a common brass tube. Failure of one servo halves the available servo throw, but it still allows you to fly home safely. Make a “thickness” doubler by soldering on extra metal where the clevis is attached (see arrow).
