Soldering Pushrods

It is common to use a solder-on threaded coupler when making music-wire pushrods. But it is difficult to work inside the fuselage to get the length correct. I have found that reversing the pushrod, so the threaded coupler is on the outside of the fuselage with the clevis connected to the control surface, makes soldering much easier. Then when the solder has cooled, I remove the clevis and reverse the pushrod, sliding it back through...
