Tandem Wing Design

Tandem wing aircraft, generally speaking, have two larger main wings, although 3-wing aircraft variants are also commonly called tandem wings. Tandem wings feature a foreplane used for attitude control located well forward of a vehicle's center of gravity. Advantages of tandem wing aircraft: the design frees pilots from the too-often-fatal stall-spin, low-altitude crash.
