Transmitter-Switch I.D.
Some transmitters have an abundance of switches for auxiliary functions, and there are times when it’s hazardous to take your eyes off your airplane to identify a switch. Dip the “critical” switches in Plasticote (a rubbery coating that’s often used on tool handles) or equivalent. This way, you’ll be able to identify these switches by “feel.” Adapted from 400 Great R/C Modeling Tips by Jim Newman, Volume II, an Air Age Media publication.
