Turkey may Sell Bayraktar Akinci Attack Drones to Ukraine
The Bayraktar Akıncı is reportedly the world's 1st multi-role unmanned combat aircraft in mass production. An innovative aspect of the Akıncı is that it can use air-to-air missiles (AAMs). These include the indigenous Bozdoğan IIR-guided AAM and the fire-and-forget beyond-visual-range (BVRAAM) air-to-air Gökdoğan. The Bayraktar Akıncı can also use 275+km-range SOM cruise missiles, which are for precision attack of command posts, SAM sites, hardened bunkers ships and other targets.
