U.S. Air Force is Seeking 1,000 Wingmen Drones

As reported by Defenseone.com, The Air Force is planning to buy 1,000 Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCAs): 300 F-35s (photo 2.) will get two drones apiece, as will 200 of the planned Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) aircraft. CCA’s will fly alongside crewed fighters.
