Wing-Tip Scuff Protection

Make 1/16-inch slots in your plane’s wings, then install these useful skids that can be fashioned from any of a variety of materials. The holes serve as guides for glue or epoxy. Use copper-clad laminate, fiberglass, printed circuit board, Formica, or a section of a large nylon hinge.
