World’s Fastest Prop Seaplane Holds 90-Year Unbroken Speed Record!

After nearly 90 years, the Macchi-Castoldi M.C. 72 still holds the record for the highest speed ever attained by a piston-engine seaplane (709k/440mph). Set in October, 1934, the record has never been broken.
