Balancing Jig Bearing
Most modelers are familiar with balancing jigs made of two pointed dowels in a block. The disadvantage of this system is that it invariably leaves dents in the underside of the wing. Tape a small square of plywood that has been indented with a drill point under each wing on the CG line. This provides a socket/bearing for the dowel points. No more dents in the finish!
