Better Leading-Edge Sheeting Joints

Run your leading-edge stock through a table saw to make a groove like the one shown by the arrow. This provides a ledge for the LE sheeting that allows more precise alignment and a superior joint. It’s also easier to sand. If you don’t have a table saw, you can glue a strip to the rear of the LE. To compensate for the added strip, though, trim a little off the rib front.
