Some fliers have had clevises open under heavy flight loads, and a fuel line has been known to slip off occasionally owing to oil on the clevis. Here’s a solution: after attaching the clevis, slip a ½-inch length of heat-shrink tubing over it, then shrink it tight with a heat gun.
