Engine-Mount Marking

Before you drill engine mounts, spread a thin film of oil over the mounting surfaces. Set the engine in place, align it as required, then drop a pinch of talcum powder (or baking soda) into its mounting holes. Carefully lift the engine, and you’ll find neat, white dots marking the spots to be punched and drilled.
