Engine-Mount Marking

Engine-Mount Marking
Before you drill engine mounts, spread a thin film of oil over the mounting surfaces. Set the engine in place, align it as required, then drop a pinch of talcum powder (or baking soda) into its mounting holes. Carefully lift the engine, and you’ll find neat, white dots marking the spots to be punched and drilled. Adapted from 400 Great R/C Modeling Tips by Jim Newman, Volume II, an Air Age Media publication.
