ESV Lead and Phone Jack Short-Circuit Prevention

Expanded Scale Voltmeter (ESV) leads and sub-miniature phone jacks used for charging and other circuits have a very small space between the solder tabs, and rough treatment can cause the tabs to touch. To prevent shorting, fill the space between the tabs with electronic-grade silicone sealant. Do not use vinegar-smelling tub sealant because it eats copper wire!
