Here’s a nifty way to make quick work of molded fiberglass engine cowl repairs—and the technique eliminates sanding to boot. First clean and then remove the damaged portions of the cowl. Place some paper under the damaged part. Cut two layers of fiberglass cloth large enough to cover the repair area. Spread some 15-minute epoxy over the repair, and then place a piece of fiberglass over it and cover with a piece of MonoKote backing...
