Rolls-Royce Turbogenerator Targets eSTOL and eVTOL Markets
Rolls-Royce is developing a turbogenerator at its Dahlewitz facility in Germany for use in advanced-air-mobility (AAM) propulsion systems for electric short-takeoff-and landing (eSTOL) and vertical-takeoff-and-landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The scalable system will enable extended range on sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and later on hydrogen power.
